– I play (and teach) guitar, bass guitar, mandolin and mandola – contact me for details
– I’m in a band called the Acoustic Architects. See links to videos and sound clips.
– I am involved in various community choir projects, particularly the Oast House Community Choir (OHCC).
I am leader of the Oast House Community Choir (OHCC), which meets every Tuesday 10am – 11:30 during term time. In 2024 and 2025, the OHCC was involved in contributing to ‘Hulked‘ – a project masterminded by Anna Braithwaite and Jeremy Scott – and the OHCC regularly perform some of the songs and poetry that this project produced.
In 2019 and 2020, I was Music Leader of the innovative project Sea Folk Sing. This produced several unique songs about the Medway and Swale waterways and the nearby sea, which the OHCC regularly perform.
In 2015 and 2016, I was co-director of the folk opera ‘Hopping Down in Kent‘ with Dave Woodward, also of the Acoustic Architects. See link to a rough video of the first performance which we performed at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham in November 2015. We also performed ‘Hopping Down in Kent’ in 2016, in the week running up to the Faversham Hop Festival (Wednesday 31st August), again at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham. We also performed some of the songs of HDIK during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Hop Festival.
